Three fantastic days have passed, and we are still overwhelmed by the positive energy we received during our presence at 3daysofdesign. Three different locations showcased the many facets of Bolon and underlined what we stand for: being bold, innovative and passionate.
BOLON x ATELIER SEPTEMBER
From June 12th to 14th, we collaborated with the popular café Atelier September by Fredrik Bille Brahe for a unique installation. Highlighting 75 years of woven design, we went bold with our material to allow visitors to engage with Bolon's pioneering designs – not only with the flooring. While enjoying a cup of the finest coffee or maybe wine, people could experience the versatility of Bolon flooring in textured, inviting spaces that combined design and lifestyle.
BOLON x NORMANN COPENHAGEN
For 3daysofdesign 2024, Normann Copenhagen celebrated their 25th anniversary with the exhibition ELEMENTS of Normann and Bolon was part of it.
From a tribute to their fondness of colour to the materials that define the brand's collections, the exhibition brought together cutting-edge contemporary design news and timeless favourites staged as an enlightening, introspective and multi- layered study of the fundamental elements that constitute Normann Copenhagen. Bolon dressed ELEMENTS of staging with a checkerboard flooring in black and white as well as with an impressing silver flooring for ELEMENTS of metallic to underline Normann Copenhagen’s long custom of working with steel, aluminum and other metallic materials.
BOLON x CASA ESCANDI
On the 3rd of June, Casa Escandi opened the doors to a month-long case study reframing hospitality with a guest- centric approach to modern travel needs, and Bolon is part of it. In the heart of Copenhagen, Swedish design studio Escandi explores the potential of key hotel areas: the reception, lobby, workspace, library, bistro and hotel suite. Beyond aesthetic appeal, this initiative focuses on the practical needs of contemporary travellers, addressing the evolving demands of work and leisure in today’s hotel landscape. Bolon complements the reception and lobby area with the recently launched Graphic collection. For the bistro area Escandi chose a mix of different collections as Bolon Studio tiles to create an impressive yet harmonic pattern. The exhibition is running until the 10th of July.
