– The idea with the Design Bar was to share my vision of a total happy place. Its inspired by vacation resorts, amusement parks and effortless beach life. I wanted the floor to link everything together and look like waves and colorful confetti explosions. Sending pencil drawings to the team at BOLON made the process fun and extremely straight forward, says Fredrik Paulsen.
Visitors will be able to see a mix of collections; Missoni Home Fireworks, White Artisan Quartz, Artisan Fuchsia, Botanic Viva, Botanic Tulip, Silence Emotion, Bolon By You DOT Grey and Peach Orange, all mixed into a creative pattern for a great impact.
– When we received the ideas for the Design Bar presented by Fredrik, I felt straight away this was the perfect match for our concept this year, The Art of Performance. To be able to work freely and create a unique flooring experience for the space, was really fun. We also had a mutual idea of that we wanted to go all in, says Petra Lundblad designer at BOLON.
When the fair is over all BOLON flooring will go back to BOLON headquarters. The floor will go into the recycle machine to be new flooring. It’s important as a global producer to be sustainable and to showcase that we have a take back system.
