Bolon at Basel Social Club 2026: A Space for Recovery and Reflection

During this year’s Art Basel, Bolon joins Basel Social Club through a collaboration with wellness platform KEEN. Designed by RITEN, the space brings together thoughtful design, rest, recovery and meaningful connection.

From June 14–20, Basel Social Club returns for its fifth edition, transforming a vacant office building designed by Diener & Diener in the heart of Basel into a vibrant platform for art, performance, music, gastronomy and social exchange. This year’s theme reimagines the workplace as a space for critical reflection, exploring ideas around labor, productivity, rest and the changing rhythms of contemporary life.

As part of this year’s edition, Bolon flooring in BKB Sisal Umber features in the “Out of Office” area created by wellness platform KEEN. Designed by RITEN as a retreat from the intensity of Art Basel week, the space invites visitors to slow down, recharge and reconnect through a contemporary approach to active recovery.

KEEN’s concept combines scientifically backed recovery practices with guided experiences focused on physical recovery and nervous system regulation. Throughout the week, visitors can sign up for 60-minute sessions combining meditation, ice baths and breathwork, all led by experienced coaches.

Two of the sessions are powered by Bolon and reflect our shared belief in spaces that support wellbeing and meaningful human experiences: BREATH + ICE offers a moment of stillness through guided breathwork followed by an optional cold plunge, while

BREATH + SOUND pairs breathwork with a live ambient DJ set to create an immersive experience that encourages presence and connection. In addition, RED combines infrared heat, breath-led movement and assisted stretching to invite guests into a slower, more grounding rhythm.

Aligned with Basel Social Club’s “Out of Office” theme, the KEEN space offers a moment of calm and regeneration — demonstrating how design, wellness and culture can come together to shape new ways of gathering.

We invite visitors to experience one of these unique sessions and discover moments of recovery and connection, in an environment where design, comfort and wellbeing come together naturally.
