When SBFI group, a company specialising in furniture and design for trading floors, moved their office to the heart of the financial district in London their top priority was to create an office space that reflects their modern, professional brand while simultaneously aligning with contemporary design. As a company in the design industry, they were well suited to this challenge and used all of their capacity to design a showroom that reflected the theme; tech meets craftmanship.
The main inspiration for the project follow the theme, as SBFI chose to use materials like oak in a balanced mix of classic design, dramatic black wall colour and the sober, tactile Bolon flooring that come together in a timeless aesthetic which imbue a sense of curiosity into a visitor.
