Sound absorption is an important function in a building, reducing the transmission of disturbing sounds. All our floors have acoustic properties that reduce noise and create a calmer, more pleasant atmosphere for public spaces.
Our acoustic tiles are specially developed to reduce impact noise between floors. They have a sound-absorbing layer of felt that reduces impact by up to 21-22dB, making us the market leader in sound absorption of woven vinyl flooring.
The impact sound in the room where the floor is installed is no more improved by ouracoustic floors than by our other floors. There is also no point in installing acoustic flooringon the ground floor, as there is no effect. We recommend working primarily with textilematerials such as curtains and ceilings for better sound absorption in the room.
Our acoustic floors are made from recycled PVC, recycled chalk and recycled polyester. The sound insulation layer consists of 90% recycled polyester fibre from PET bottles. Together with the backing, the total percentage of recycled material is over 68%. In addition, all Bolon products are climate-neutral. For the best choice, contact one of our sales representatives. They will help you find the right floor for your particular Bolon installation.
