From September 10–14, 2025, Bolon proudly sponsored and supported Finland’s leading design event, Habitare, celebrating creativity, materiality, and innovation. As a third-generation family business rooted in weaving and craftsmanship, Bolon once again provided the flooring that set the stage for the entire fair, transforming spaces into tactile experiences.
Creativity flowed through every corner of Habitare. At Habitare Choice, curated by interior stylist Susanna Vento, Bolon’s sustainable design philosophy met forward-thinking ideas about responsible design. In the Habitarematerials library by Nemo Architects, visitors were invited to explore, touch, and experiment with materials – Bolon included – to craft mood boards that shaped future projects.
The Päälava Main Arena showcased Bolon’s latest collection, Riff, which included all 16 designs. This dynamic space hosted inspiring talks and creative exchanges, demonstrating how flooring can elevate not just interiors but the very atmosphere of dialogue and inspiration.
Bolon also took part in Habitare Neighbours, a concept that imagined a living, ever-changing courtyard designed by Laura Seppänen. The installation brought together contemporary design, innovative materials, and timely reflections on how we live and build today.
The year’s theme, Touch, captured the essence of Bolon’s presence, a multi-sensory celebration of surfaces that invited curiosity, stirred emotion, and highlighted Riff: a tactile, touchable collection designed to awaken the senses.
