Sound absorption is an important function in a building, reducing the transmission of disruptive sounds. All our floors have acoustic properties that reduce noise and create a calmer, more pleasant atmosphere for public spaces.
Our acoustic products are available in both rolls and tiles, specially designed to reduce impact sound between floors. They feature a sound-absorbing felt layer that can reduce noise by up to 19 dB.
For ground-floor installations, we recommend using our standard flooring. To further improve acoustics within the same room, additional sound-absorbing elements on walls and ceilings are advised.
Our acoustic floors are made from recycled PVC, recycled chalk and recycled polyester. The sound insulation layer consists of 74% recycled polyester fiber from PET bottles.
