Bolon has been awarded a Red Dot Design 2014 Award for the Silence Planks in the competition Product Design. The Product Design competition has existed since 1954. The Red Dot Award, is an internationally recognized quality seal.
The jury of 40 industry experts evaluated 4 815 different entries from 53 different countries. Bolon launched the new collection 'Silence' in February 2014 during the Stockholm Design Week. 'Silence' can be supplied in sheets, tiles and planks. In sheets, four colours in pattern are available – these are called Pulse, Rhythm, Motion and Vibration. In tiles and planks, six colours are available – Gracious, Visual, Sense, Balance, Illuminate and Ocular.
