Bolon is now back at the office after the Milan Design Week. The launch of the new tile Wing and The Story of Bolon was a huge success as we were completely overwhelmed by the reactions from visitors, exhibitioners, architects and the journalists. The Bolon team would sincerely like to thank you all who came to visit our stand during the fair and we hope to meet you all in a near future.
Bolon at Salone del Mobile The Bolon stand, where we unveiled The Story of Bolon and Wing for the first time in a sparkling and eye catching installation, was a gathering place for both new and old friends during the week. During the third day of the fair, we hosted a champagne event and the stand was crowded with people who enjoyed our concept in all it's elegance. Bolon with Friends In 2012, Missoni’s partnership with Bolon resulted in the collection Bolon by Missoni, and the two family businesses are currently working to expand the collection with additional four colours of the Flame pattern - Stone, Wood, Rust and Pine. During the fair, Missoni's Home Stand featured the new colour Flame Stone which was showcased for the first time ever. In the Missoni Home showroom at Viale Elvezia the Optical Pineapple flooring was on display, which added a colourful contrast to the beautiful venue. Giulio Cappellini, the Godfather of design is one of Bolon’s first Designer Friends and all of Cappellini showrooms worldwide features flooring from Bolon. This year, Artisan Ecru was installed in Cappellini's stand at Salone del Mobile which created a majestic effect to the already fantastic stand.
In addition to our Designer Friends, Bolon was also featured in stands and exhibitions of our friends Bloc Hotels, Studio Object , Form Us With Love, Karl Andersson and Blå Station. See pictures from our friends stands and exhibitions here. Offices For Living Bolon's Architect Friend Jean Nouvel presented his project "Offices For Living" at iSaloneUfficio. Nouvel interpreted the office of the future – by creating a more human and personal environment. Bolon's Spektra Non were featured in the project. See pictures from the opening day here.
