Botanic

A natural innovation from Bolon

The new Botanic flooring collection is a revolutionary breakthrough, woven vinyl flooring with environmental care. Botanic contains a new plasticiser, which, in turn, is based on renewable raw materials from the vegetable kingdom. Although the collection is inspired by nature's pluralism, Botanic is just as much a tribute to simplicity and resource efficiency, while taking nothing away from its expressiveness. The new collection will be launched during the Stockholm Furniture Fair in February 2010.

Paul Smith and Bolon at Stockholm Furniture Fair 2010

Paul Smith, who was the Guest of Honour at the Stockholm Furniture Fair 2010, chose Bolon?s flooring for the special stand he has designed for this occasion. For the Guest of Honour stand, Paul Smith has created a very exciting flooring design, where tradition meets the possibilities of modern materials.

Bolon® Green, an environmental

initiative at the cutting edge

Bolon, the Swedish design company, the world leader in woven vinyl flooring, aims to be able to offer a completely environmentally adapted and climate-neutral product. As part of the Bolon® Green initiative, there is now a revolutionary plasticiser. Thus, Bolon will be the first flooring enterprise in the world to switch to using plasticisers consisting of 100 % renewable raw material, with their origin in the plant kingdom. The plasticiser will be included in the new 2010 Botanic collection and it is Bolon's goal to have it in all the products in its entire product range.

Bolon Studio? ? discover flooring's possibilities

Bolon, the Swedish design company, wants even more people to discover the possibilities of their innovative, woven vinyl flooring. The vision of Bolon Studio? is an environment of full, creative freedom, where flooring plays the leading role. The new concept includes tiles, costumised area rugs with trim and patterned carpets. There is also an opportunity to integrate logos and texts into the flooring through laser cutting. Bolon Studio? is a new product for 2010.

Twilight

Twilight is the inspiration for our new collection 09. Twilight is the state where neither light nor darkness prevails. It is the frontier that divides the day between dark and light. The inspiration for the 2009 collection of floor designs from Bolon comes from the world of magic, and the colours are reminiscent of dusk - the change from light to dark, shadowy and shimmering at the same time. Twilight from Bolon is a frontier between the floor, the room and whatever lies between.

Spektra

The use of colour in the environments in which we live has a greater affect on us than most imagine. The fact that colour affects our lives is something that Bolon takes seriously. The colourful flooring called Spektra is produced in the spirit of energy, joy and movement. Each of the six designs in the new collection has different colours and patterns, all with a light, metallic lustre.
