This is a prototype and the first step towards a potential production and we will surely experiment with Bolon to cover other Cappellini products. We hope we can start an interesting collaboration in the design field as it was for architecture.

Swedish / French creative duo Färg & Blanche are known for their experimentation and exclusive handmade one-off pieces. For our exhibition, they have produced an armchair called Long Neck, upholstered in customised Duet by Bolon.
The combination of mat wool and the shiny vinyl make the material come to life and it feels that it takes its inspiration more from the fashion industry. We have been missing this type of more glamorous choice of textile for furniture.
Fredrik Färg & Emma Marga Blanche
Family-owned Swedish furniture designers Gärsnäs are renowned for craftsmanship and innovative collaborations. From a design by Färg & Blanche, they have produced the Elsa pouf, upholstered in customised Duet by Bolon.
The colours and textures in the material are innovative, especially the combination of wool and vinyl. The material has a three-dimensional depth that feels different compared to conventional upholstery.
