Bolon and Missoni revealed their latest collaboration during designjunction in London. Four new colours of the classical flame pattern - evoking stone, rust, wood and lush green foliage - will be added to the Bolon by Missoni range. The previously affected and inspired by nature collection is now extended with a progressively autumnal, contemporary rustic palette.
“Missoni is the perfect partner,” explains Bolon’s Marie Eklund. “They are experts when it comes to intricate patterns – but weaving patterns requires different techniques so we invested in jacquard machinery that allows us to work with even finer threads. The results are truly beautiful – earthy and homely but very contemporary, adding a natural and endearing warmth to public spaces which can often be cool, harsh, uninviting and impersonal.
With these latest additions to the Bolon by Missoni range, an organic relationship continues to flourish.
